Happy Holidays!

I have a confession … I’m not a big holiday person. We don’t have any big family traditions. I don’t put up a big tree. I don’t decorate. I don’t even have stockings for my kids. I’m not a scrooge or a grinch, it just feels like so much work and stress. I much prefer to travel to the grandparents’ houses and have Christmas there and let THEM do everything.

What I do look forward to is the food! All my favorite dishes get served during the holidays. One of my favorites is Cranberry-Apple Casserole. We serve it as a side, but I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be a dessert. I’m not kidding. I’ll post the recipe below (which, for full disclosure, I got from epicurious.com).
